  • Epson Redefines Affordable Printing with Its Next-Generation EcoTank Series

    Epson has expanded its EcoTank printer portfolio with the introduction of eight new compact models, designed to provide faster, more efficient and cost-effective printing solutions for homes and small businesses. Building on the global success of more than 100 million EcoTank printers sold worldwide, the latest generation offers improved productivity, enhanced durability and a more compact design to meet the growing demand for reliable home-office and business printing across Southeast Asia.

    The new EcoTank line-up includes the L1310, L3310, L3316, L3350, L3356 and L5390, with selected models featuring advanced capabilities such as mobile scanning and copying through the Epson Smart Panel app, as well as Apple AirPrint compatibility for seamless wireless printing. The L5390 further enhances workplace productivity with an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), making it easier to handle multi-page documents efficiently.

    Designed for high-volume printing, the latest EcoTank printers deliver impressive page yields of up to 4,700 black-and-white pages and 7,500 colour pages using high-capacity 65ml ink bottles. Epson has also improved the refill system with colour-coded tank keys that help users refill ink easily while reducing spills and maintenance. The printers are engineered to print up to 50,000 pages under warranty and feature a replaceable Maintenance Box and Semi-Automatic Print Adjustment system to ensure consistent print quality over extended use.

    The new series also introduces a sleeker and more compact design, with a footprint that is up to 20% smaller than previous models. Integrated ink tanks, an improved paper tray and enhanced paper support contribute to a cleaner workspace and smoother printing experience. Powered by Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, the printers consume less energy, making them a practical and environmentally responsible choice for both home users and businesses looking to reduce operating costs.

    To support modern hybrid work environments, selected EcoTank models offer wireless connectivity through the Epson Smart Panel, allowing users to print, scan, monitor printer status and manage documents directly from their smartphones or tablets. Support for AirPrint and Mopria further enhances compatibility with a wide range of mobile devices, while USB connectivity remains available on selected models for users who prefer traditional wired printing.

    SUBANG JAYA, 1 July 2026 — Epson has strengthened its industrial textile printing portfolio with the introduction of the SureColor SC-F20030, a next-generation dye-sublimation printer designed to meet the growing demand for digital textile production across Southeast Asia. As manufacturers increasingly shift from traditional screen printing to digital workflows, the new printer is positioned to help businesses improve productivity, flexibility and operational efficiency while supporting the region’s rapidly expanding textile industry.

    According to the Epson-IDC Digital Textile Printing Trends in Southeast Asia report, digital dye-sublimation technology enables print service providers to achieve revenue growth up to eight times faster than conventional screen printing. The technology is also opening new business opportunities in high-growth sectors such as sportswear, home textiles, footwear and customised apparel, where demand for shorter production runs and personalised products continues to rise.

    Developed as the successor to the SureColor SC-F11030, the new SC-F20030 is built for high-volume production environments where speed, scalability and consistent print quality are essential. The 76-inch industrial printer is engineered to support fast-paced textile manufacturing while delivering reliable performance across both short-run and large-scale production.

    A key highlight of the SC-F20030 is its advanced eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead architecture, which doubles the printhead configuration of its predecessor to improve productivity and image quality. The printer is capable of achieving production speeds of up to 306 square metres per hour at 600 x 600 dpi, enabling businesses to complete high-volume jobs more efficiently without compromising print consistency.

    To maximise uptime, Epson has equipped the printer with a range of intelligent production features, including an integrated drying system with double-sided heating to improve ink curing and minimise media wrinkling. A built-in dust reduction mechanism helps maintain print quality by reducing nozzle clogging, while an automatic hot-swap bulk ink system allows production to continue uninterrupted when ink packs require replacement.

    The SC-F20030 also supports optional jumbo roll and jumbo reel units capable of handling media loads of up to 300 kilograms, allowing manufacturers to reduce media change frequency and improve productivity during extended production runs. In addition, selected maintenance components, including the printhead and anti-drying cap, can be replaced by users, reducing downtime and dependence on service technicians.
